Well, if you’re a fan of CreepyPasta, you’re definitely going to like this one. A TikTok user has recently stumbled upon a very strange message over her radio which has a lot of people spooked. But how true is it, and what does the message say! Well, let’s find out.
What happens in the Time Council video on TikTok?
A TikTok video by user snackquarius has gone viral in a very short period of time; one day to be precise. The video has garnered over 500 thousand likes and 17 thousand comments and keeps climbing. The reason people are so intrigued by this video is the audio that companies it. The video was posted on August 27th, which opens up a whole new can of creepy.
The video is a recording of snackquarius listening to the radio when suddenly a strange voice appears on the channel with quite a garbled tone. The video shows snackquarius quickly turn up the volume on the radio so that the recording can be heard better. The video does not show her changing the channel at all. In fact, the radio channel is displayed clearly in the video to be set at 102.5 FM which is a well known Classical station in Australia. Check out the video for yourself below.
@snackquarius ok I had classical music playing on the radio and this interrupted it and kept playing over the top of it on a loop can someone help???????
What is the audio in the Time Council TikTok video?
The audio is the creepiest part of the TikTok video. Although it is quite garbled up, Reddit users have tried to make sense of it to quite an extent. The video seems to have been first posted to r/conspiracytheories on Reddit where users were quick to decipher the garbled up audio.
Here is what they had to say:
Most of them seem to have gotten a similar readout of the audio which seems to say “For anyone listening to this message, those in contact with the time council: tell them he’s escaped and is following me. I am afraid there will be many more tragedies. 1265. Please hurry, there isn’t much time.”
Why the Time Council 1265 is so creepy?
Well, if you were to take the audio on its own, that is already some doomsday stuff. The person on the radio seems to be talking about an escaped time traveler. She also claims ‘there might be more’ (travelers). The clip ends with her saying ‘Please hurry, there isn’t much time’, which is quite ominous.
Then there is the date that the video was published on. If you have been anywhere near TikTok within the last month, you should have heard about the whole ‘August 27th’ deal. The whole thing is based on a video by user stfusamantha in which states (in text) “If this is on your FYP… Congratulations. You’ve been chosen. Remember the date August 27. It’s important.” Since the video was uploaded, users have been counting down the days to this mysterious date.

And finally, we come to the way that snackquarius stumbled upon this little oddity. She was listening to a radio station when all of a sudden the audio changed to this strange message. While it is not uncommon to experience overlapping radio stations, the context of the audio does not sound like anything from another radio station.
So what could Time Council be?
Well, there are a number of theories being professed by Redditors online. Some, of course, claim that the entire thing is staged and that snackquarius isn’t using original audio as she claims there is.
Others however have different opinions about what might be going on. Some users believe that it could be that she stumbled across a HAM radio frequency that she was passing on the way and the radio transmitter of her car picked it up. But whether this was just to mess with people or not is up for grabs.
Others believe that it could be someone who hijacked a radio frequency, which of course is illegal. However, if this were the case, then everyone tuned in to 102.5 should have heard the message being played. There does not seem to be any evidence coming up from other users.
New reports suggest that the audio is from the game Destiny 2. The comment appears on a new video posted by snackquarius where she responds to all the people asking her if she is alright.
@snackquarius update: I am alive and I still have no clue what’s going on but I’ll keep u posted! #fyp
Well, that’s all we know so far. Whether it was just a coincidence or not, no one can really know for sure. One thing is certain though; it is definitely spooky. What do you think about this creepy message on the TikTok? Let us know in the comments below.
