VV Ultimatum: How to Set Up A Private Server For Dragon Boss Calamitas Farming

Learn how to get a private server to farm Calamitas in VV: ULTIMATUM using the High Value Target mission trick, plus spawn requirements, fight phases, and key drops.

Tired of random players porting in and stealing your loot every time you summon the dragon boss in VV: ULTIMATUM? There’s a clean way to get the Calamitas fight entirely to yourself, and it doesn’t involve redeeming anything or paying for a server. The whole method leans on a quirk of the game’s mission system, and below we walk through the trick itself, how to unlock and spawn Calamitas if you don’t have him yet, what the fight actually involves, and the drops worth grinding for.

QUICK ANSWER
There is no special code or paid VIP server for Calamitas — the working trick is to start a High Value Target mission with Dangerous Mission turned off, which drops you into a private mission server where you can summon and farm the dragon boss uninterrupted as long as you have Ritual Oil.

There’s no Calamitas code or VIP server

Let’s clear up the framing first, because the wording floating around is misleading. There is no in-game Calamitas code and no boss-instance code — the “(CODES)” tag attached to a lot of related clips just refers to general VV: ULTIMATUM redeem codes, not anything that spawns a private boss arena. You also don’t need to buy a Roblox VIP server to pull this off.

What you actually need is small: one mission ticket, some Ritual Oil in your inventory, and Calamitas already unlockable on your account. The “private server” is really a mission server — once you’re inside a High Value Target mission, no one can join you and you can’t be invaded, so the dragon spawn becomes a solo farming spot. That’s the entire trick.

What you need first

One mission ticket
Ritual Oil in your inventory (you cannot farm materials inside the mission server)
Calamitas already unlocked on your account

STEP 5/7

Clear and complete the mission

STEP 6/7

Head out toward the dragon spawn

Leave the mission area toward the dragon spawn — the Altoundo route is closed, so take the open path instead.

STEP 7/7

Summon Calamitas in your solo server

With Ritual Oil ready, summon the dragon boss here and beat it on repeat; bring the oil in advance since you can’t gather materials inside.

One thing worth knowing up front: you don’t get kicked when the mission timer hits 00. The timer can read zero and show an hour-plus elapsed, yet you stay in the instance and can keep summoning the boss.

QUICK WIN

Stock up on Ritual Oil before you enter the mission — you can’t farm materials inside the private server, so the only limit on how many times you re-summon Calamitas is how much oil you brought.

Spawning Calamitas the normal way

If you don’t have Calamitas unlocked yet, the trick above won’t help until you’ve done the questline. You need to be level 83 to start the Ritual Oil questline at Enrique’s Sanctum; below that level you can’t begin it at all. At the sanctum, you talk to a boy NPC and a woman NPC, and she kicks off a chain that has you farming Wendigo skulls in her area.

Wendigos share spawns with a monkey NPC, so if no Wendigos are appearing, kill the monkeys to force them to spawn. After you turn in the Wendigo objectives, she sends you to Soul Society Outskirts to speak with another NPC, then back to her. That unlocks a ritual site with an NPC in the center who controls the Calamitas ritual and gives you access to Ritual Oil — and if that NPC is missing, it means someone has already summoned the dragon on that world.

To actually spawn the boss, you head to Hueco Mundo and spray Ritual Oil on the graves in the coliseum. Reaching Hueco Mundo means progressing the main story — including beating a boss in the Arctic Plains snow area to prove you’re strong enough — and then using the world-travel menu (press U) to travel there.

Calamitas fight phases and the drops worth farming

Calamitas looks like a dragon and fights across two phases. Phase one is straight fire; phase two adds electric on top. The trap to watch for is the transition — at around 25% HP, Calamitas does not die. Instead it fully heals back to full and flips into the fire-electric phase, so treat the fight as more than one health bar and save cooldowns for the reset rather than dumping everything when you think it’s almost dead.

Detail What to know
Boss type Dragon-like boss
Phases Two — fire, then fire-electric
Phase switch At ~25% HP it fully heals and enters phase two
Known drops 13 Chests, Anshen pendant, Flame-Refined Talon, A Song Of Fire and Thunder
Drop rates Not known — none confirmed in the sources

The drops are the reason to farm at all. Calamitas is listed as dropping 13 Chests, the Anshen pendant, the Flame-Refined Talon, and A Song Of Fire and Thunder — the kind of gear players chase for build resets.

Server-hopping public worlds as an alternative

If you’d rather not use the mission trick, there’s a simpler-but-slower fallback: server-hop public worlds until you land on one where the ritual NPC is present and Calamitas hasn’t been summoned yet. A missing ritual NPC is the tell — it means someone on that server already summoned the dragon, so move on and try another world.

It’s less reliable than the mission-server method because you’re at the mercy of who else is on each world, but it requires no setup and gives you the boss to yourself whenever you find a fresh, unsummoned server.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a code or VIP server for the Calamitas private server?

No. There’s no documented in-game Calamitas code or boss-instance code, and you don’t need a paid VIP server. The “(CODES)” tag on related videos refers to general VV: ULTIMATUM redeem codes only. The real “private server” is a High Value Target mission instance.

What do you actually need to do this method?

Just one mission ticket, Ritual Oil in your inventory, and Calamitas already unlocked. You can’t farm materials inside the mission, so bring the oil with you.

Do you get kicked from the High Value Target server when the timer hits 00?

No. You can stay well after the timer reads 00 and still being able to summon the boss.

What level do you need to start the Ritual Oil quest and unlock Calamitas?

Level 83, with the questline beginning at Enrique’s Sanctum.

Where do you get Ritual Oil?

Access to Ritual Oil comes from completing the questline at the ritual site and talking to the NPC in its center.
