The China exclusive Vivo X9 will no longer remain confined within the territories of the parent country as its chances of being released outside the country just gets stronger with the Bluetooth listing of Vivo 1611.
The Bluetooth SIG has given certification to a Vivo handset with model number Vivo 1611, which goes by the moniker of Vivo X9 in China. The launch of this device outside China has long been anticipated as it has already been spotted on Indonesia’s certification agency TKDN as well as GFXBench bench-marking site.
The Bluetooth listing reveals the OS for Vivo X9 which is still Marshmallow based Funtouch OS 3.0. The catch point is here that, Vivo’s Funtouch OS 3.0 will not be released before March-end signifying that the Vivo X9 device will make its entry into other countries only after that, which should be March-end or April.
Vivo X9, when released outside China as model number Vivo 1611, will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p display, octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone comes with a 16MP main shooter and an impressive dual selfie snapper of with 20MP and 8MP sensor. The battery should be of 3080mAh capacity.
Vivo X9 comes at a price of 2798 yuan in China, so the expected price in India would be around Rs 28,000 – 29,000.
