The users of Moto Z Droid and Z Force Droid on Verizon network are receiving a new firmware update. Arriving as over the air (OTA), the update installs the latest monthly Android security patch.

The new firmware network is hitting Verizon Moto Z Droid and Z Force Droid devices as software version NCLS25.86-11-4-6-8 and installs the March security patch. It also brings enhanced device performance and resolves known issues.

The update is a highly recommended one and is being rolled out gradually. As such, it may take sometime to appear on your device. If you haven’t received the notification for the update yet, then head to Settings > About Device > Software Updates to check for it manually.

However, before installing the update, make sure your device is more than 50 percent charged and connected to a stable WiFi or Cellular network to avoid extra data charges.
