The Motorola Droid RAZR HD and the RAZR MAXX HD have been launched on Verizon’s network, bang on schedule as expected earlier. You can pick up either handset from Verizon’s website or Amazon Wireless for $199.99 and $299.99 on contract respectively.
For those of you who are not familiar with the Droid RAZR HD and the RAZR MAXX HD, here’s a quick rundown. Both these droids share pretty much the same hardware specs, but the key difference is that the RAZR MAXX HD packs a whopping 3,300mAh battery and 32GB of internal storage versus the RAZR HD’s 16GB and 2530 mAh battery, which is also quite good considering most current competitor smartphones fall into the sub-2100 mAh category.
Apart from that, both phones have a 4.7” Super AMOLED 720p display, 1GB RAM, dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, an 8MP main shooter, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
If you are nearing the end of your contract, or just looking to sign up with Verizon for a new line, this might be an excellent opportunity to do so. If you do plan on doing that, which of these powerhouses are you planning to get?
