Thanks to @evleaks, an image of the Verizon HTC One Remix broke the barriers and came forth, with guess what, the mighty Verizon Wireless logo at its back. And the front too, look a bit carefully if you need to, right below the display.

Yeah, we obviously totally hate Verizon’s mischievous way of branding for its phones, which makes the devices look funny, if not stupid, many a times.

The worst of the Verizon logo placements we saw was with Galaxy Note 2, when the carrier imposed its logo right on the hard middle button of the device.

The case with HTC One Remix is quite that, but the sadness attached with over-branding of Verizon logo here is not much far away either. Even with the large enough logo occupying at the back, Verizon couldn’t just stop and let the front be all neat and peaceful, and instead went for the logo right below the display, where it should be an small and cute HTC logo otherwise.

Sure, we can only complain, the logos at the front and back are there to stay.

The HTC One Remix is the Verizon’s HTC One Mini 2 actually, and it packs good hardware, too.

While you are here, be sure to check out the other HTC devices everyone’s talking about.

  • 1 GB RAM
  • Quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor

All in all, HTC One Remix is a good phone, with elegant looks and a bit powerful hardware. The only department where we feel it lacks punch is RAM, must have been minimum of 1.5 GB with 2 GB making us very happy.
