Verizon Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Nougat update rolling out, build G930VVRU4BQA2 and G935VVRU4BQA2

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users on Verizon, it’s time to get the taste of Nougat. Verizon is currently seeding the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge on its network.

It’s been a long time coming, but it is finally here. The Nougat update is available as an OTA and brings all the new features and a refreshed user interface to the S7 and S7 Edge. The entire change-log is available at the source link.

The unlocked variants had already received the update several weeks ago. However, carriers tend to take longer to deliver these major updates. The Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge received the Nougat updates last month.

Since this is a major OS upgrade, we recommend that you download it using a stable Wi-Fi connection. The Galaxy S7 Nougat software version is G930VVRU4BQA2, and the S7 Edge software version is G935VVRU4BQA2. Before installing the updates, make sure your device has more than 50 percent charge and perform a backup, just in case something goes wrong.
