The rumor mills are hard at work and the latest leak talks about Nokia’s upcoming flagship. Nokia’s mysterious flagship is slowly coming to light if the rumors are to be believed. Nokia’s road map for the next two years had been leaked previously, that reveals Nokia’s plan to focus on smartphones and VR.
The Nokia flagship we have here, whose name or codename is still unknown, is said to feature the Snapdragon 820 processor along with a 5.2-inch or 5.5-inch display Quad HD resolution. The cameras on this smartphone are rumored to use the famous Carl Zeiss optics, that has been a Nokia thing for long now.
Though the choice for the Snapdragon 820 may seem a bit outdated, considering the fact that the Snapdragon 821 is out now (powered OnePlus 3T and Google Pixel sets) and the Snapdragon 835 is already announced, it is still a good enough choice for a flagship.
The leak further says that the device is waterproof, which we will take as IP67 certification, meaning would feature a pretty good water-resistant body, which in turn is believed to be a metal affair.
An expected release date for this smartphone is heavily rumored to be around Mobile World Congress, Barcelona in 2017. The rumored Nokia D1C and a whole new line of android smartphones from Nokia are also expected to be released at this time.
