Unlocked Samsung Galaxy A10e for the U.S. is in the pipes

Samsung Galaxy A10

A month ago, the Wi-Fi Alliance cleared a device believed to be Samsung Galaxy A10e with model number SM-A102U. From the model number, it’s easy to tell that this device is destined for the U.S. market.

Now, the same organization has cleared another device with model number SM-A102U1, which is undoubtedly a variant of the said Galaxy A10e.

While the former will be heading to U.S. carriers, the latter will be sold as an unlocked model. However, for now, we can’t give you any specific date as to when the duo will begin selling in the country.

Although we also don’t know much about the specs of the A10e, it’s possible the device will be to the standard A10 what the Galaxy A20e is to the standard Galaxy A20. What this means is the A10e could be a compact variant of the standard A10 but keep the same specs.

Granted, the A10e will ship with an Exynos 7884 chipset allied to 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, a 13MP main camera, a 5MP front camera, and a smaller battery than the 3400mAh unit and a more compact screen than the 6.2-inch panel found in the standard A10.

In India, the Galaxy A10 goes for an equivalent of about $115, which is the price around which we expect the A10e to operate when it arrives stateside.
