LG had already confirmed that the Optimus G would arrive at the Big Three carriers of Canada: Bell, Telus and Rogers, and later Sasktel joined them as well. While a sometime in November release had been confirmed by all, Telus has finally broken the ice by announcing a November 13th release data for the LG Optimus G.

Rogers had announced its pricing for the Optimus G earlier this month, quoting a price of $129 CAD on a 3-year plan and $599 CAD outright. Rogers has even started accepting pre-orders for the LG Optimus G. While Telus has not confirmed anything on the pricing bit, it would be logical to assume that they wouldn’t stray too far from what Rogers is pricing this baby at. Considering the upcoming LG Nexus 4 is based on the Optimus G, it is sure to have its share of takers, and it wouldn’t make sense to have high variance in pricing across competing carriers.

No word yet from Roger, Bell and Sasktel on when they plan to make the LG Optimus G available, but now that Telus has blown the whistle, we should be hearing from the others soon enough. For those who missed the details on the LG Optimus G, here they are :

  • 1.5GHz Quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor
