OnePlus was quick to roll out the stable Android 10 update for the global version of its OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro handsets, doing so merely within three weeks of update’s release by Google but the update never reached the T-Mobile users. As OnePlus plans to release the Android 10 Open Beta build for its global OnePlus 6/6T handsets, we have some good news to share for its T-Mobile fans.
T-Mobile today updated its support pages for the OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 7 Pro to announce that the update is under development at OnePlus. While that is a pretty obvious thing to know, that T-Mobile officially acknowledged it now only signals that the launch date is getting nearer.
Once the update is complete at OnePlus, T-Mobile will receive the update for ‘Testing”, which is also the second stage of development, third being the rollout itself. We hope to see T-Mobile announce the next stage of the update soon.
The original Android 10 update (OxygenOS 10) for the OnePlus 7/7T had run into issues, causing OnePlus to halt the update but it quickly came up with a bug-fixer update in OxygenOS 10.0.1 that is now also available for download.
