The Galaxy Tab E landed on T-Mobile in mid-2016, which makes it one of the oldest tablets available for purchase today and the Magenta carrier is giving it to you for free, but of course, there’s a catch.
Being an old device, T-Mobile is probably looking to clear the shelves. The carrier wants you to walk away with the slate on the house via 24 monthly bill credits on an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) when you activate a new Unlimited ONE Mobile Internet plan or 6GB or higher T-Mobile Simple Choice Mobile Internet plan for using on the 4G LTE-capable slate.

Alternatively, well-qualified customers can have the Galaxy Tab E at $10 per month for 24 months with $0 upfront payment, but you can simply opt to buy the device through the carrier’s 24-month no interest EIP with 0% APR. You must also remain active on the purchased plan for the period of the credits and if you cancel the service, the remaining balance with respect to the $240 full-price becomes due.

You can get more details about this deal here. Given this is a pretty old tablet, there isn’t much to talk about in the hardware department. Still, expect things like an 8-inch HD panel, a massive 5000mAh battery unit, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, microUSB port, 1.5GB RAM, 32GB storage, Android 7.0 Nougat (updated from Marshmallow), as well as a 5MP/2MP camera combination, among others.
