T-Mobile USA posted on its official Twitter account earlier today, that its best selling device of all time is none-other than, and I guess this wouldn’t come as a surprise, the Samsung Galaxy S3. What is surprising though, is that this phone has only been available with the 4th largest carrier in the US for a few months now.

Having said that, we had published a post couple of days ago about the Samsung Galaxy S3 sales having spiked during the Samsung-Apple lawsuit last month, and that seems to have contributed to T-Mobile’s benefit as well. Adding to that, the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S3 does not really face any competition (like the iPhone 5 for instance) within the range that T-Mobile offers, would have also helped push sales numbers higher.

While T-Mobile hasn’t released any official numbers as yet, it should be safe to presume that the Galaxy S3 has well breached the 1 million units mark. This announcement from T-Mobile also corresponds well will the record profits that Samsung has posted in the quarter leading into September, a large part of which has been attributed to its success with the Galaxy range of devices.

All we can say is that T-Mobile customers sure know an awesome handset when they see one! And like with its predecessor, the Galaxy S2, Samsung seems to have a winner on its hands with the Galaxy S3, lawsuit or otherwise.

Do you think the Samsung Galaxy S3 is likely to top the charts with other major carriers in the US as well? Give us a shout in comments below.
