T-Mobile has started rolling out the promised software update to the Galaxy Note 2, which brings the coveted but missing Multi-Window multitasking feature to the device. A few XDA users are reporting that the update is indeed rolling out right now, and is around 73.29MB in size.
Along with the multi-window feature, the update fixes the issue of calendar events not appearing in the Calendar app and also resolves the issue of some users being unable to swipe through Gmail messages.
While this is a useful update that T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 owners will cherish, it is still on version Android 4.1.1, but hopefully the Android 4.1.2 update isn’t too far away as it brings some useful new software features and improvements.
If you aren’t seeing the update on your phone yet, try forcing it by using the Settings » Software updates menu and pressing the Check for updates button. Do let us know if you notice any other changes or improvements in the update.
