Earlier this month, LG G7 users on Verizon Wireless in the U.S. and those with the unlocked model for the European market started receiving updates to Android 9 Pie.
Today, T-Mobile has started testing the same update for its variant of the LG G7. During this stage, the device will go through T-Mobile certification process testing to make sure you get the best quality software possible, the carrier notes.
This process should take a couple or so weeks before the rollout begins, which means July is when you can expect Pie on your T-Mo G7 ThinQ.
