Samsung hasn’t officially launched the Galaxy J8 mid-ranger in the US, but thankfully the device is available for purchase in the country via retailer B&H.
The phone is sold as unlocked and even comes with a 1-year warranty! That’s great news! But what some of you might not like is the fact that the Galaxy J8 offered here is compatible only with GSM carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T. So that means, Verizon or Sprint subscribers will have to look somewhere else.

Anyway, in case you don’t know the Samsung Galaxy J8 comes with a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with 18:9:5 and 720 x 1480 resolution.
The phone is based on a decent octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor, which is backed up by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for those who need for memory.
Like most phones launching these days, premium or mid-range, the Galaxy J8 features a dual-camera setup on the back. It consists of a main 16-megapixel sensor and a secondary 5-megapixel one. Also on the rear, lives a fingerprint scanner, right below the cameras.
The Galaxy J8 also offers the services of a 16MP selfie camera and relies on a 3,500 mAh battery. It ships with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Customers can pick the device up from B&H in either Black or Gold.
