The customizability of Android, is what makes the OS so great. Every element of the OS, including default system elements like the stock keyboard can be replaced with a third party app, which may offer more features or simply just be more comfortable to use.

Swiftkey and Swype, are perhaps the most popular third party keyboard apps, used in the Android eco-system.

Swiftkey has just launched the Swiftkey Flow keyboard app for Android, which combines the fluid swipe-based technology of Swype, along with the impossibly accurate, and intelligent word corrections that Swiftkey keyboard is known for.

Swiftkey Flow users will be able to have the flexibility to choose between the traditional tapping style or the continuous swipe input style. Infact, one of the unique features of this app is the continuous input tracking support which lets you use swipe as well as individual button tapping methods simultaneously, while continuing to offer intelligent word corrections to both. Swiftkey also predicts the next word in the line that you are typing, which means that most of the time you don’t even have to type out all the words. Super Cool, isn’t it?

There is no release date as yet, but if you are a tester, you can sign up for the beta which would be starting in a few weeks. In the meantime, check out this demo of Swiftkey Flow in action. Really awesome stuff, this.
