When Xiaomi started rolling out the stable MIUI 10 update last week, many expected that the Redmi 5 Plus, also known as Redmi Note 5 in India, would be among the first units to get the nod. However, it was only the Redmi Note 5 Pro (otherwise known as Redmi Note 5 outside India) that got the update alongside a few other phones, but it hasn’t taken Xiaomi long to begin pushing the same update for users of the Redmi 5 Plus.

The update is rolling out as MIUI 10.0.2.0.OEGMIFH and as per the post, it has been available since Friday last week as an OTA. The post further notes that the new stable MIUI 10 update isn’t suitable for those currently using the Russian model with software version MIUI 9.6.3.0.NEGRUFD, so make sure this isn’t you.
If the OTA hasn’t hit your Redmi 5 Plus (Redmi Note 5 in India) device just yet, we have the recovery update via the link below, which can be downloaded and installed manually.
