Users of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ are patiently waiting for the Android 8.0 Oreo update. So far, three beta versions have been released to testers, and it looks like the fourth one may be out any day now.
Samsung released the third Oreo beta for the two devices about three weeks ago. And that’s usually the gap that was there between beta releases. Keeping that in mind, the final stable Android Oreo release should be out by the end of January 2018.
A representative for the company told SamMobile that the next beta will arrive very very soon, but still didn’t have a proper release date for the stable release. He did mention late January or early February, depending on whether more bugs need fixing. This is what the rep from Samsung UK beta team had to say.
How to register for Galaxy S8 Oreo beta program
It’s probably safe to assume that other regions, apart from US, UK, and South Korea, will start to receive the Oreo beta as that was originally Samsung’s plan. We will let you know as soon as the next beta is released so you can try it out.
