Sprint has a new software update for users of the LG V30+. The device is receiving an update that carries software version LS99822a alongside this month’s Android security patch.
The previous update to hit the LG V30+ on Sprint brought with it some issues to the gallery app and while doing a factory reset helped solve the problem for some, this could be the update that clears things up. The LS99822a update should also include plenty of optimizations and other bug fixers.

It’s an OTA update, meaning it will take some days before all LG V30+ units get the download notification. Waiting is an option, but you can also try forcing the update via the device’s Settings menu, although this doesn’t guarantee the update.
The LG V30+ has already received the update to Android Oreo and is in line to receive Android Pie. However, considering how long it took for the Oreo update to arrive on what is a flagship device, it won’t surprise us if the wait for the LG V30 Pie update took us well into Q2 2019. Hopefully, we are wrong!
