Sprint has a new update for Samsung Galaxy S9 users that starts rolling out on April 18. This update comes as software version G960USQU2ARC6 and it has a couple of additions and one subtraction from what is already a great piece of hardware.

According to the changelog, the S9 update removes the G.711 audio codec, adds BIP Wi-Fi support and installs March 2018 security patches – at a time when April patches are already rolling out.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus users on Sprint recently received an update with a similar build number ARC6. Apart from the March 2018 security patches, the rest of the changelog isn’t the same for the two phones’ latest updates.

As noted, the update starts rolling out on April 18, which is only hours away.
