Sprint today released the Android Nougat update for its LG G5, for which the 7.0 build was already out in Korea. Mind you, LG G5 is first device outside of Nexus and Pixels family of device to receive the Android 7.0 update officially, as stable release.

That’s second stable release of Android 7.0 today, as we also saw Motorola push the Nougat update for Verizon Moto Z Droid and Z Droid Force.

The software version of the Sprint G5 Nougat build is LS992ZV8, and it comes with November security patch.

If you own a G5 at Sprint, there’s a Nougat OTA waiting for you. Head to Settings > About device, and check for the system update now. If you see any update other than ZV8 (Nougat!), then go for that too as that could be Nougat base kind of required build.

We hope the KDZ file for Sprint G5 Nougat comes out too, as we already have one for the Korean G5.
