Specs of Bamboo phone leak out, called Adzero

The whispers and rumors of the eco-friendly smartphone from AD Creative are finally taking shape in the form of Adzero; the world’s first bamboo based phone! The final design and specs of this revolutionary smartphone have been released last week and the phone is now all set to be released via a Kickstarter campaign.

Even though it’s made from natural bamboo, and thus is very eco-friendly, the phone does not compromise on the spec-sheet. The Adzero will be operating on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and packs in Samsung’s 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The phone has an impressive 4.5 inch HD TFT LCD display with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution which pixelates to 326 ppi. The 8 megapixel primary camera with a 0.3 megapixel secondary camera and 2050 mAH battery put this phone on par with some of the fast selling smartphones in the market.

The Adzero phone offers an optional bootloader system which the development team has called ADAOS.

The concept of this phone was launched last year in London. The AD Creative team has toiled endlessly to make Adzero a reality. The targeted price of this device is $700 but the early birds can avail this eco-friendly bamboo phone at a discounted cost of $500.

All in all, not a bad way to embrace the Green Revolution!
