Nothing, through its sub-brand CMF, has revealed the design and several features of the upcoming CMF Phone 2 Pro just days before its official launch. The device is set to debut on April 28 and will be the second smartphone from the CMF lineup, following last year’s CMF Phone 1.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro stands out with its dual-tone finish, which is visible in both the orange and white color variants. The back panel features a lighter hue on the top half and a darker shade on the bottom, with visible screws that allow users to replace the back panel or attach accessories. The bottom half of the device carries the CMF branding and regulatory badges, and the phone is expected to ship with a screwdriver for easy panel replacement. This design approach continues the brand’s focus on customization and tactile finishes, with hints of a textured, possibly sandstone-like surface for improved grip and feel.

On the hardware front, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor, which is an upgrade over the previous model. The phone is designed to deliver a strong gaming experience, supporting up to 120fps in games like BGMI, a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, and a 53 percent network boost. The device will also feature the Essential Key, which provides access to an AI-powered Essential Space for enhanced productivity and memory management.

The camera system has received a significant upgrade. The CMF Phone 2 Pro comes with a triple-camera setup on the rear, including a 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.57-inch size, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. This marks an improvement over the previous generation, which featured only a dual-camera system. The main camera sensor is the largest in its price segment, promising better light capture and detail.

Other notable features include a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and storage options up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, with microSD expansion. The phone will run on Android 14 and is expected to be available in multiple colorways at launch.

With the official unveiling just days away, Nothing’s CMF Phone 2 Pro is positioned to attract users seeking a customizable, design-focused smartphone with robust performance and camera capabilities.
