Sony Xperia Z4 Specs revealed, thanks to leaked benchmarks

Even though you hate it, the Sony Xperia Z4 is coming. Sony started this bizarre trend recently where the company is releasing new flagship versions of its popular Z series every six months and so, leaving a handful of users irritated for the fact their devices are new only for six months.

The Sony Xperia Z4, which is expected to release at MWC next month, seems to have already outed its innards via leaked benchmark scores at popular benchmarks database, GeekBench. A mysterious Sony device with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and Qualcomm’s latest beast Snapdragon 810 chipset has been spotted at GeekBench, and we couldn’t help but think it’s the Xperia Z4.

Sony Xperia Z4 Benchmarks

As per the benchmarks, Sony Xperia Z4 specs include a Qualcomm octa-core MSM8994 processor (Snapdragon 810) clocked at 1.5 GHz and 3GB RAM. And there’s all sorts of other data for performance of the device, interested users can hit the source link below to know more.

Previously rumored Xperia Z4 specs have hinted us at two variants of the device. One with a Quad HD display resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels) and the other with a 1080p display. I, personally, would prefer the 1080p display for the advantages of enhanced battery life, not that Sony devices are an under performer in that area, but for the sake of burning less battery power than Quad HD displays does.

That said, a different variant for Quad HD would help Sony to keep the spec-hungry users in its reach, because the competition will have the Quad HD display panels anyway.
