Expanding the availability of its high-end smartphone, Sony has launched the Xperia XZ Premium in Portugal. Priced at EUR 799, the phone is available in Luminous Chrome and Deepsea Black colors.
Launched at this year’s Mobile World Congress, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium takes away the credit of being world’s first smartphone to rock memory embedded camera which is capable of recording videos at 960 frames per second. Interestingly this slow motion video is four times slower than other smartphones in the market.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium is already available in a number of countries including UK, Germany, Austria, Malaysia, South Korea, India. Aimed at photography enthusiasts, the camera on this phone is its main USP. The rear camera is 19MP and the selfie one is 13MP with the new ‘Motion Eye’ feature which works by allowing your Xperia phone click four pictures in the one second before you hit the shutter button.
This premium looking phone sports 4K 5.5-inch Triluminos HDR display (2160 x 3840 pixels resolution) with Gorilla Glass 5 on top. Under the hood there’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with Adreno 540 GPU. It carries a 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM combo. The lights are kept on by a 3230mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0. The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It also carries IP 68 rating making it water and dust proof and a front fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button.
