After making its entry in UK, Germany, Austria, Malaysia, South Korea, India and Portugal, the high-end smartphone from Sony, Sony Xperia XZ Premium will go on sale in South Africa from 7 July.
Launched at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Sony Xperia XZ Premium is up for pre-order in South Korea via MTN and Vodafone reseller Cellucity. However, there is no information regarding the price of the device.
Sony is also offering a free Xperia Ear personal assistant worth R 2,499 if you pre-book Xperia XZ Premium from MTN, however, the offer is valid for first 100 customers only. On the other hand, Cellucity will launch the smartphone in August.

To recall, Sony Xperia XZ Premium flaunts world’s first 4K HDR Display of 5.46-inch. It is also IP68 certified water and dust resistant. Inside, the smartphone packs 4GB RAM/64GB internal memory coupled with Snapdragon 835 processor.
In the camera segment, Xperia XZ Premium features 13MP camera at the front with Motion Eye Camera and a 19MP camera at the back. The device feature 3,230 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1.1.
