Sony releases April security patch update for Xperia X Concept

Sony is rolling out a new firmware update to Xperia X Concept. The minor OTA update is being received by the Experimental track of the Xperia X Concept and installs the latest monthly security patch.

Arriving as software version 38.3.1.A.0.96, the new firmware update brings April security patch update. Although this is a minor firmware update, it is advisable to get your handsets sufficiently charged before hitting the download the button. Also getting connected to a WiFi network is also recommended to avoid extra data charges.

The update being rolled out as an OTA should hit your Sony devices soon. If you do not want to wait, you can check for it manually by heading to Settings > About device > System updates.

Sony, at the beginning of the month, rolled out a firmware update to Xperia X Concept which installed a bunch of new features viz Sony Audio Effects engine and new battery indicator. In addition to these two, the update also carried fix for Bluetooth restart problem and a graphical bug for camera app shortcuts.
