How to enter the X-Ray room
After completing the patient-vitals section in Surgery, check the pager for the next door code. The X-Ray room is through the door on the right side of the Surgery area.
Enter:

The door opens and gives you access to the Zeimann X-ray machine and the computer used to position the patient.
Find the correct X-ray dosage settings
Before taking either scan, examine the X-Ray Dosage Table on the laptop beside the patient’s bed. It provides the technical settings required for each body area.
There are two scans to complete:

The settings must be entered correctly on the Zeimann machine before the corresponding scan can be taken.
How to take the skull X-ray
Start by turning on the computer and the Zeimann X-ray machine.
On the X-ray machine, select Skull as the site and enter:

- mA: 7
- Time: 1
Once the machine is configured, interact with the computer to position the patient’s body for the scan.
Move the camera upward toward the patient’s head and zoom in. The objective is to align the markers with the white targets around the patient’s skull.
Continue adjusting the view until the computer displays:
Patient Skull – Aligned
This message confirms that the patient’s skull is positioned correctly. Return to the Zeimann machine and press the green button to take the scan.
How to take the chest X-ray
After completing the skull scan, change the settings on the Zeimann machine for the chest.
Select Chest as the site and enter:
- kV: 7
- mA: 3
- Time: 1.2
Next, return to the computer and move the camera downward toward the patient’s chest.
Zoom in and adjust the view until the markers line up with the white targets. The computer should display:
Patient Chest – Aligned
Once the chest is correctly positioned, return to the X-ray machine and press the green button to take the second scan.
Collect the X-ray films
After both scans have been completed, check the printer beside the computer. The completed X-ray films are printed there.
Collect both the skull X-ray and chest X-ray and return to the main Surgery area.
There is a board beside the intercom where the films need to be placed. Put the two X-rays on the board and interact with them when prompted.
Completing this step advances the patient’s treatment sequence and allows the story to continue.
What to do if the X-ray will not activate
If the green button does not allow you to take the scan, check both the machine settings and the patient’s alignment.
For the skull, make sure the machine is set to Skull / 3 kV / 7 mA / 1 second and that the computer shows Patient Skull – Aligned.
For the chest, use Chest / 7 kV / 3 mA / 1.2 seconds and make sure the computer shows Patient Chest – Aligned.
The scan will only proceed once the appropriate settings and alignment have been completed.
What happens after the X-Ray puzzle?
Once both films have been printed and placed on the board beside the Surgery intercom, interact with them to finish this part of the patient’s treatment.
The game then moves the investigation forward and directs you toward the next objective, where additional medical supplies are required before returning to Surgery.
