Verizon is rolling out a new update for its Google Nexus 6, and we guess it’s the same LMY48M build that we saw on Sprint and T-Mobile Nexus 6 recently, while the same build was released as factory image for unlocked devices too yesterday.
Though Nexus 6 is not the only device to be up for an update at Verizon, it seems a security patch update is also hitting other less popular devices like Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy Tab S and LG G Pad 7.0 LTE.
Verizon has kept mum on the new build no. for these devices. Anyway, don’t expect anything great from the updates, and in all probability, they look necessary minor updates.
We are little bit surprised that other Verizon Nexus devices are yet to receive the same LMY48M update, but we expect it pretty soon. After all, it’s available everywhere now. You are unlikely to see any performance improvements or visual changes after this update.
If you own either of these devices mentioned above, then an OTA update should be hitting your device anytime now. Do let us know how the update treats you. Good or bad?
