Google hasn’t really handled the launch of the Nexus 4 too well, what with the device selling out in a matter of minutes on the Play Store, and then quite a few users who had successfully ordered one (and ruined their F5 key on the keyboard in the process) getting backorder emails asking them to wait a few more weeks, but now Google is finally ready to ship the second batch of Nexus 4’s.
Those who had ordered are getting an email from Google right now, saying that the Nexus 4 will ship this week. Of course, this still isn’t a guarantee that all the backorders will get shipped as Google still needs to have enough stock to do that, but at least a few people will be able to get theirs before Christmas. Oh, and you’ll also be getting a credit for the shipping charge within “7 business days” for your (forced) patience.
As for when the Nexus 4 is back in stock on the Play Store, we’ll be sure to let you know when that happens, though we aren’t expecting that to happen any time soon. But don’t lose hope is what they say, so keep your fingers crossed!
