Canadian carrier SaskTel has updated its official website and listed the LG Optimus G and Samsung Galaxy Rugby LTE as “coming soon”, though without any mention of actual release dates or pricing.

The Optimus G, which has already launched in the U.S. on carriers AT&T and Sprint, is the latest LG flagship smartphone, with a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 4.7″ True HD IPS+ display (1280 x 720), 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 32GB storage, Wi-Fi, HSPA 21mbps, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 2100 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 (update to Android 4.1 planned for later this year).

The Galaxy Rugby LTE is a mid-range water, shock, and dirt resistant smartphone (adhering to military grade specifications) that sports a 3.97″ WVGA Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 5 megapixel camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, NFC, 1850 mAh battery, and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device has already been launched on Bell and TELUS, so the launch on SaskTel should be happening soon.

We’ll be sure to let you know when SaskTel starts selling either of the two devices.
