The recently released Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has not really been hitting the headlines since it’s launch. Understandably so, as it came at a time when the market was already flooded with multiple tablets, including some very good ones from Samsung’s own stable. To add to it’s woes users on the original firmware reported multiple bugs which didn’t help it’s cause.

This morning, users have reported that they have received a 75 MB OTA update. Given the size, it is clear that is most certainly not Jellybean, but those who have gone ahead and accepted the update have some good news to share. The update brings some much needed bugfixes to the device, while still keeping it on Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich.

Users have reported the following fixes/improvements:

  • KeyBoard pop-up bug  fixed
  • Landscape Option added to S-Note
  • Palm Zoom issue in S-Note fixed
  • exFAT Fix – 64 GB microSD cards now supported
  • S-Note now adds scroll bars when needed

So if you own a Note 10.1, and have gotten irritated with any one or all of the bugs listed above, head over to the Settings Menu on your device, and look for a system update. These small improvements should make an already awesome device even  better.
