As expected, Samsung has started rolling out the new One UI based on Android 9 Pie beta to the Galaxy S9 and S9+. We already got a hint that the rollout would begin today, but so far, the update has only been spotted in South Korea.
While launching One UI, Samsung had already confirmed that Korea will be among the first few markets to get the Pie update, with others being the U.S. and Germany. That said, we should start seeing the update in North America and Europe very soon, probably later today.
Others in the UK, India, and a few other European markets will also be allowed into the beta program beginning next week.

Of course, this is an OTA update that will be pushed to those who have submitted their interest to be considered for a place in the program and based on what’s rolling out in Korea, it weighs close to 1.7GB, so be sure to get a stable Wi-Fi connection when the OTA arrives on your S9 or S9+.
