After the whole Note 7 fiasco, Samsung must now pull a rabbit out of its hat if it wishes to bring back the customer base and trust, that went up in flames (pun intended!). The solution, it seems, is a radical change in design by Samsung, and today we get another glimpse of how the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus might look like.
It’s easy to spot the sensors in abundance above the display, but given the fact that Samsung would install a new type of fast autofocus front camera sensor in there, along with proximity sensor and IRIS scanner, it could very well look like that.
What’s more, we even have a specs info on front camera of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.
A rumor from Weibo has it on good record that the selfie shooter on the Galaxy S8 would be pretty good at low-light photo capture, as it would rock a 1.4μm pixel-capable 8MP camera with fast auto-focus and aperture of F/1.7. Clearly the best in class as far as specs go.

The camera will also have OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a better low light photography mode. Although it sounds good on paper, much can be known only after a detailed camera comparison and review. Given that camera performance is Samsung’s plus point, we won’t be surprised if this rumor indeed comes out totally true.
