It’s turning out to be an exciting day of launches and releases. Just a while back we covered the release of Xiaomi Mi6 which is taking place at a live event in China. And now in India Samsung has taken the Galaxy S8 and S8+ to the stage. Both the devices have been officially announced in the country at an ongoing live event.
Samsung has opened the pre-registration for Galaxy S8 and S8+ in India. You can sign up by visiting Samsung India official online store. Samsung has released only the hybrid Dual SIM variants of S8 and S8+. They will be available in three color options — Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Maple Gold.

Already breaking pre-order records in Korea, Samsung has witnessed huge success with these flagship devices. They made their debut on March 29th in New York and London following which they have been put for pre-order in several countries and have even been shipped to customers in some regions.
In India, although the pre-registration has started, there is no word yet about the shipping date and when it will reach the eagerly awaiting customers. Also, the price has not been revealed.
However, these aspects should soon get clearer as the live Galaxy S8 event progresses.

Dual sim is the standard for most phones in India nowadays especially with everyone having a Jio in their hands .A single sim would’ve simply been a bad release as shifting from a single sim to a dual sim would be a pain so might as well directly release a dual sim version.

But it poses a huge problem when you want to shift from a dual sim to a single sim phone. So the primary criteria by itself will become a dual sim supported phone. Samsung understands this well.
