Samsung announced the One UI Beta program for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus a few days ago and also released the second Pie beta update for the Galaxy Note 8 yesterday.
Now, the company has now released the second Pie beta update for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus which was spotted in a Reddit post. The new update version is ZSAC and should be available via an OTA update for those users who are already in the One UI beta program.
There are quite a few bug fixes and improvements that come along with the update such as the fix for the Camera app crashing when recording slow motion or super slow motion videos.
If you haven’t yet received the update notification on your Galaxy S8/S8 Plus running the Pie beta already, then you could also manually check for the update by heading over to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Weirdly, Samsung has removed the Intelligent scan feature from the second beta update as some users have spotted that the feature is no longer available in the biometric preferences.
If you use the Intelligent scan feature, then you might no longer be able to use it after installed the second beta update on the device. This could be a mistake and most probably Samsung would fix the issue with a quick update.
