Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Android 7.0 Nougat update reaches testing stage

Samsung recently released the stable Nougat update for its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, so all eyes are set on when the Android 7.0 build is out for the next device in line, as Samsung itself announced, the Galaxy S6, and its variants S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus.

We just spotted the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ running Android 7.0 Nougat build on the GFXbench, which is as good as any source on news about a new major Android update entering testing for a device.

We have already seen Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge being tested for Android 7.0 update, so it was about time the Galaxy S6 Edge+ received the same treatment.

Expected release date?

Well, we think the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Nougat update would be released by the company, starting with European variant, in next 2 months. So, that’s sometime in March-April 2017.
