Rumors of the Galaxy S4 that Samsung is working on for a release next year have come in quite a few times before, hinting at its specs, and now the specs of the device have been rumored yet again. The South Korean media is reporting that the Galaxy S4 will sport a 1080p Super AMOLED display, and a 13 megapixel camera.

The talk about the display is no doubt fueled by the rumor that Samsung is now ready to produce Full HD 1080p Super AMOLED displays for smartphones, and nothing would be better than to introduce the first 1080p Super AMOLED display with the next Galaxy flagship. The display has earlier been rumored to be 5 inches in size, which would be quite normal considering the Galaxy S3 sports a 4.8″ screen.

Other speculated specs of the Galaxy S4 include a 2GHz Exynos 5450 processor based on the ARM Cortex-A15 architecture, Mali T658 GPU, and 3 GB of RAM, though we still find it quite hard to believe that 3GB RAM will be something Samsung puts in the S4. But then again, this is Samsung we’re talking about, so anything can happen.

With upcoming devices like the HTC Droid DNA for Verizon, which also sports a 1080p display, Samsung will no doubt make sure that the Galaxy S4 simply knocks the socks off any other device in the market at that time, so I for one am taking these rumors about the Galaxy S4 quite seriously.

What do you think about the Galaxy S4’s specs? Fact or fiction?
