The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for Australian carrier Telstra has cleared Wi-Fi certification and will be carrying the model number GN7100T, with the T standing for support for the 850MHz 3G band, as is the case with every Samsung smartphone launched on Telstra.

Telstra is rumored to be launching the Galaxy Note 2 on November 26th, after Optus and Vodafone. No official announcements have yet been made, though the N7000T passing Wi-Fi certification means that at least Telstra will be launching the device soon.

There is bound to be an official announcement about the Galaxy Note 2’s launch in Australia sooner or later, and we’ll be sure to let you know when that happens.
