The recent leak has suggested two phones bearing model numbers SM-M205F and SM-M305F will be rechristened Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 respectively when they’re launched. Also, while the M20 is touted to arrive with 32GB and 64GB storage options, the M30 will come with 64GB and 128GB options. Both may support dual-sim.

Another report suggests that there may be a third Galaxy M phone in the offing named Galaxy M50 that’ll sport an AMOLED screen compared to the LCD screens that’ll sit on the lower end M20 and M30 phones.

Samsung is also reportedly planning to introduce LCD screens on upcoming Galaxy A series phones to replace the J series and compete with OEMs like Xiaomi and Huawei in developing markets like India and China.

It is unclear at the moment though when these phones will be officially unveiled and in which markets they’ll be made available.

Price

While these phones look like they’ll sit pretty in the mid-range segment, the exact prices cannot be ascertained yet. However, it is clear that Samsung is making some big changes in its lineups and that only bodes well for us smartphone enthusiasts!
