Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) spotted with SM-J730F model and Android 7.0 Nougat

The unannounced Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 has once again been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance. This time though, it is a sporting a new model number. Previously, the J7 2017 carried the model number SM-J727V and SM-J727VL. The newly certified variant carries the model number SM-J730F.

Last month, an AT&T variant of the J7 2017 with model number SM-J727A had appeared on the Geekbench website. The device sported an Exynos 7870 processor instead of the Snapdragon 625 that has been rumored.

So far, a lot of the specs for the Galaxy J7 2017 variant has leaked online. It is said to feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2 or 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 5MP front camera. Other specs, including the rear camera resolution and battery capacity are still not confirmed.

Samsung should announce the new Galaxy J7 2017 variant soon, probably before the announcement of the Galaxy S8. It would be an improvement over last year’s J7 series and should be priced similarly. We will let you know when it’s announced.
