Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 (SM-J727V) gets certificate from Wi-Fi alliance, runs on Android 7.0 Nougat

The Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 edition with model number SM-J727V has been making rounds on several legal authorities recently. The device only recently received a certification from Bluetooth SIG (Bluetooth Special Interest Group) and today SM-J727V was also received a certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance authority.

As per the Wi-Fi Alliance certification, the Galaxy J7 2017 will support both 5.0 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies like all modern smartphones does. Plus, the device will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. This probably also means that the Galaxy J7 2017 will be running the latest Samsung Experience 8.0 or above software.

Although Galaxy J7 2017 has received certification from both Bluetooth SIG and W-Fi Alliance, specifications about the device’s hardware are yet unknown.
