Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 has now been cleared by Wi-Fi Alliance. What this essentially means is that the device has reached the testing stage at Samsung.

And perhaps, they may even have a working prototype of the handset ready which obviously must have been shown to the Wi-Fi Alliance authority for the approval.

Also, you can see from the Wi-Fi Alliance listing that the smartphone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat. So, we can expect the latest Android version to hit the Samsung handsets pretty soon, starting with the Galaxy S8 line perhaps.

The Galaxy C7 2017 had also been cleared by Bluetooth SIG last week which only indicates the fact that its launch is imminent.

There are not many details available surrounding the specs of the device. However, according to recent rumors, the Galaxy C7 2017 could be powered by an Exynos 7872 chipset and feature a dual camera setup on the back.
