Samsung launched the Galaxy C9 Pro last year followed by release of Galaxy C7 Pro in January this year. And now here comes the next C series smartphone, Galaxy C5 Pro which has been officially unveiled in China.
Aimed at power users who want pure performance, the Galaxy C5 Pro is equipped with 2600mAh battery capacity and runs on Android Marshmallow. Under the hood, the phone rocks 2.2GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor paired with 4GB and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card.
The screen display is FHD Super AMOLED 5.2 inches (1920 x 1080 pixels). There’s a 16MP upfront camera for clicking selfies and another 16MP camera at the rear.
Another feature is the screen reminder function which displays the info of your interest in the locked screen state. All you need to do is double-click the info icon to quickly enter the corresponding interface.
Other usual connectivity options include Bluetooth, WiFi, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC support. A fingerprint scanner sits on the home button in the front.
The ultra-fine metal clad Galaxy C5 Pro phone comes in three colors- Blue, Pink and Gold and is pre-loaded with a number of useful apps including Samsung Pay.
The price of the C5 Pro has not been officially revealed by Samsung. But we assume it will cost 2,499 RMB based on a past leak. Currently, the phone is China exclusive, as was the case with C9 Pro when launched. But given that Galaxy C5 Pro’s (Model Number SM-C5010) support page has gone live in Hong Kong, we assume that it will not remain confined to China for long.
