Samsung launches Galaxy C5 Pro in Hong Kong

Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro

Remember the Galaxy C5 Pro that was launched quietly in China earlier this month? At the same point, a support page for the smartphone had gone live in the company’s Hong Kong website leading us to believe that the Galaxy C5 Pro won’t be China exclusive. Well, guess what, the handset has just made its way to Hong Kong.

Yes, you read that right. Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is now available in Hong Kong, too! Aimed at performance-conscious users, the smartphone features a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset. It packs 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

It flaunts a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display on the front with a metal build. Samsung’s iconic rectangular-ish home button rests right under the display which also doubles as the fingerprint scanner.

As is the case with all the C-series handsets, the Galaxy C5 Pro features a 16MP camera at the front and back. Again, akin to its siblings, the smartphone boots Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box and is backed by a 2,600mAh battery.

Pricing details of the smartphone haven’t been released yet by the company. We will keep you posted as soon as we come across something solid. Until then, keep a tab on this space.
