After plenty of rounds in the rumor mills, South Korea’s SK Telecom has finally unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star and confirmed that the device will begin selling on July 6th. The device is aimed at a younger generation aged below 30 years with its flashy design and plenty of megapixels for the cameras.

Featuring a massive 6.3-inch display screen with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, the Galaxy A8 Star packs a huge 3700mAh battery unit alongside a 24MP front camera for the selfie lovers. It gets even better with the main camera, which ships with a dual 24MP + 16MP setup.

SK Telecom says pre-orders of the Galaxy A8 Star will begin on July 3, with the phone’s price tag set at 649,000 won, which amounts to about $580.
