Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 became the first device from the company to rock three camera lenses on the back, a feature that has since made it to the flagship Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus handsets.

Unveiled in late 2018, the A7 2018 came preinstalled with Android Oreo and naturally, Samsung was expected to upgrade the device to Android 9 Pie at the first opportunity. The Korean company promised that an update would be ready in March 2019 and true to its word, Russians can now download and install the One UI-based update as you read this.

The variant of the device sold in Russia has model number SM-A750FN and is receiving a firmware with version A750FNPUU1BSC4, which also installs a new Android security patch for February 2019.

Just so you know, model SM-A750FN of the Galaxy A7 2018 is also sold in the wider European region, so we expect more countries to join the party pretty soon. As for those using model SM-A750F, it shouldn’t be long before the update arrives, especially since the device has been testing Pie beta for several weeks now. This model is sold in most parts of Asia and Africa.

There is also model SM-A750GN that’s mostly sold in Southeast Asian countries, which should also get Pie in the coming days or weeks for that matter.
