You can Root Verizon Note 4 N910VVRU2CPF3 OTA update

The Verizon Note 4 is receiving an OTA update today with firmware version N910VVRU2CPF3. The new build, as Verizon declares, comes with security patches.

However, the device was bootloader unlocked only recently, which means a LOT for the users. So you might wonder if it’s safe to install the OTA update with ‘security patches’ because it could patch the exploit that helped us unlock bootloader on the device.

Well, good news for you, the PF3 OTA update for Verizon Note 4 is safe to install, and it won’t block you out of bootloader unlock. Also, you can downgrade it to the previous PD1 build, which makes it totally safe to install.

Since downgrade and bootloader unlock is possible on the N910VVRU2CPF3 update, you can (obviously) also root the device after installing the OTA update.

Happy Androiding!

  1. So where do I get info to root then? This is a pointless article without any additional info.
