Verizon is now finally rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to LG G3, which the Korean manufacturer already released a month ago for its international variants.

The Verizon LG G3 Marshmallow update is coming with software version 46A (VS98546A). The update is currently on the roll via OTA and should reach your Verizon G3 anytime now.

For the folks among us, concerned about root on the Verizon G3 Marshmallow update, good news is Chainfire has already provided us with a systemless root method that allows you to root any Marshmallow running device without flashing a custom kernel or modify boot, the SuperSU zip script automatically does everything when flashed through recovery.

We’ve tested the latest SuperSU beta on international LG G3 Marshmallow update, and it rooted the device just fine. So if you can get TWRP recovery running on your Verizon LG G3, you can easily root it on the Marshmallow update (46A) by simply flashing SuperSU v2.66+ via TWRP recovery.
